Meet the ‘Badlands’: New ‘Predator’ Movie Announced

The ‘Predator’ franchise has once again announced another alien and human combat. The popular sci-fi movie that took fans into a separate spectrum of inter-species invading planets for conquering purposes or food; the entire franchise has hooked the fans into wanting for more.

The upcoming seventh movie is again bringing ancient civilization along with the anti-hero alien.

Dan Trachtenberg directed the 2022 ‘Prey’ movie, a prequel to the sixth ‘Predator’ movie, and is once again making the seventh movie. The movie is titled Badlands. The story of the movie has been carefully kept under wraps. Rumors are that the movie will be a sequel to Prey but this is untrue.

The movie will have a similar context to ‘Prey’ but will be entirely different. One thing has been confirmed which is the lead actor in the movie will be a female. The production of the movie is about to begin in July, this year. It is made under the 20th Century banner.

Talking about the movie Prey, the story starts somewhere in America back before industrialisation, and the tribes of Native Americans lived and hunted for survival. One day they see a streak of lightening on the other end of the forest. A girl who is trained to become the next tribe chief suddenly finds a bigger enemy more powerful than the forest beings.

She finds an invisible force that kills animals and people with a laser light. She tries to find out before it comes to her family. She takes the help of foreign invaders who take hunting for fun. She disguises herself by intaking a herb that cools down the temperature of her body and kills him with his weapon.
