The upcoming Paramount+ crime thriller ‘Curfew’ brings out a different angle to a murder that causes men its primary target. The series promises lots of action and nail-biting drama.

Curfew Season 1: Plot

The series opens up in a world where men are curfewed to stay in their homes between 7 pm to 7 am. According to the rule of Women’s Safety Act, this rule has been put up for men. They are constantly being monitored by officers through an ankle tracking device.

One day during the curfew hours, a woman is murdered. The women’s safety department comes into the picture for investigation. Pamela Green, an officer from the department thinks it’s done by a man but is harder to believe since men are forbidden to leave.

There are some speculations that Curfew is somehow related to the murder of Sarah Everard that happened in 2021 but nothing has been affirmed upon it.

There has been no information about when will it be released. Chances are that it might come around the end of 2024. So folks fingers crossed and hopes are high on the release date announcement. The series will be available on Paramount+. The producer Nathalie Peter-Contesse talked about the series to be quite provocative and thrilling show.

Not much is known about the cast. Sarah Parish will play the lead investigator, Pamela, Mandip Gill will play employee Sara, Mitchell Robertson will play rookie cop Eddie, and Alexandra Burke will play Helen, a local school teacher.
